We collect information in three ways:

Account information. When you create an account or complete your profile, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, city, and CNIC. Your email address is required to send you secure magic-link sign-in messages; other fields support document generation and customer service.

Lead information. If you download a free resource such as our document checklist, we collect your email address and, optionally, your name and phone number.

Document information. When you fill out a template through our smart forms, we collect and store the information you enter — which may include your name, CNIC, passport details, employment information, financial figures, sponsor details, and travel plans. This information is used to generate your completed documents.

Visa documentation inherently involves sensitive personal information — including your CNIC, passport number, and financial details. We collect this information only because it is necessary to generate the documents you purchase. We do not sell, rent, or trade your sensitive personal information to any third party for any purpose. We never ask for, store, or process your full payment card details — these are handled entirely by our payment gateway.

We use your information to:

• Authenticate your account through secure magic-link sign-in
• Generate, store, and deliver the documents you purchase
• Process your orders, payments, entitlements, and any refunds
• Respond to your support messages and enquiries
• Send you transactional emails such as sign-in links and purchase confirmations
• Send you marketing communications only if you have given marketing consent, which you may withdraw at any time

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers necessary to operate VisaPrepDesk.com:

Each provider only receives the information needed to perform its function. We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or a valid request from a government authority in Pakistan.

• Financial and transaction records (orders, payments, refunds) are retained for up to 7 years to comply with Pakistani tax and regulatory requirements.
• Generated documents and the information you entered to create them are stored to allow you to re-download your purchases. You may request deletion of this stored document data at any time by emailing support@visaprepdesk.com.
• Marketing data is retained until you withdraw your marketing consent or request its deletion.
• Lead information is retained until you unsubscribe or request its deletion.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct any inaccurate or incomplete information
• Delete your stored document data and account information, subject to records we are legally required to retain
• Withdraw marketing consent at any time
• Request a copy of your information in a portable format

We use a small number of essential cookies that are necessary for the website to function — for example, to keep you signed in during your session. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Because we rely only on essential cookies, no separate cookie consent banner is required.

Our services are not directed at children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@visaprepdesk.com and we will delete it.

Our infrastructure is hosted in the Asia-Pacific region. If you access our services from outside Pakistan — as a Pakistani passport holder living abroad — your information may be processed and stored in a country different from where you reside. We take reasonable steps to ensure your information is protected wherever it is processed.

We protect your information using industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections, private (non-public) file storage, and restricted administrative access. While no system can be guaranteed completely secure, we take reasonable steps to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date below and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
